We ARE BACK in London!!!

Well, this is the end of a great trip which has gone way too fast. We were very pleased to be able to keep in touch with all of you while we were so far away.
I am going back to work tomorrow and Maman will be landing in Nantes tomorrow evening.
We are looking forward to planning our next adventure!!
Lots of kisses to all of you and we look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Bangkok speedy visit

Bangkok! We have never been so warm in our lives! Walking in the heat (35 C) and 90% humidity was harder than climbing any mountain in NZ! Lots of temples, lots of people, lots of street carts selling local delicacies, lots of cockroaches .... but what a discovery! We explored the river, the Old City with all the golden temples and the shopping district. Then we were exhausted and decided to come back home!

Pour duduche....hein mon cochon!

The beaches....

Long tail boat is the main mean of transport around here

Ao Nang Bay where we are staying

Can you spot maman? No, she is not rock climbing....

Mum at The Beach's beach. Obviously very happy!

I like a swim in the morning, in my own pool...

Clear water and white sand at Railay West

Relaxed and tanned....

Krabi et les elephants!

Our elephant for the trek

It is not that I am small.... He is just HUGE!

les aventurieres.....

Mum feeding bananas to the elephant!

Our hike in the jungle: mum looks a bit tense....I wonder if it is the spider, the snake or all the other little moving insects that bother her?

Can you spot the very long yellow white snake?

Wishing you a great day!

Thailand... the last chapter

We left Tim a few days ago as we took off to Bangkok and Tim returned to London :-( - We had a great time in New Zealand and no doubt will return!

Our respectives flights were bumpy but Tim arrived safely in London and we managed to catch our correspondance to Karbi.

Our hotel is great and because the hotel overbooked, they did not have the room we originally booked, so we got upgraded to the Penthouse suite... Oh this is tough!

Paparoa! And the famous pancake rocks!

Pancake rocks!

And more....

Some really old rocks!

Wouldn't it be a great par 3?

Apparently not a dangerous spider, it looked scary to me....

our local friends: the weka. Very cheeky flightless birds.
